The Air Jordan 12 Retro GG 'Chinese New Year’ was released with the Air Jordan 12 Retro CNY 'Chinese New Year’ in January of 2017, the Year of the Rooster. The GG exclusive colorway features a light orewood premium leather upper with a basket woven trim, woodgrain side panels, and a white outsole. The design also includes a varsity red liner and varsity red Chinese characters on the tongue which celebrate the Jordan brand’s twenty-years in the Chinese market.
